(OLD) The First Friend (Gen five)

Well, working with my Oc's again inspired me. So for awhile, I'll be showing some scenes in my Gen 5 ponies lives. It will be very random what I decide to do, whatever strikes my fancy really.

This happens at roughly the same time as their profile picture.

BACKGROUND INFO: This story commemorates the day the picture was taken.

STORY TIME:
The stallion didn't mean to listen in. But sometimes his old reporter instinct kicks in and he feels the need to get the whole story. Anyway, this was his girlfriend's niece. Talking to a calf. That was unusual.

"That little huh? That really ain't right."

"Doncha know. And yet mama's expected to stay in decent shape to come out with the daily amount of milk for you ponies."

"I'll stop if that helps?"

"Aren'tcha sweet. No ponies taken this much time to listen to me. Heck, no cow has."

"Tha's not fair. You're so nice an- Hey! What're ya doin'?"

The stallion jumped, dropping the camera he was readying.

"Oh, hi Uncle Featherweight."

The cream stallion raised his eyebrows.

"Right right. Soon to be Uncle Featherweight. Whatcha doin'?"

"Heading to see Applebloom. What are you doing Jessiebell?"

"Hanging with my new friend."

"Oh"

"Yes. This is Millie. Other cows think she's weird because of her color and other ponies think I'm weird because of my size and patch, so we got alot in common."

"Nice to meet you Mr. Featherweight."

Featherweight nods. Then holds up his camera.

"Oh. A picture. Ya sure Featherweight? There's gotta be better stuff to show off."

The stallion shakes his head and holds the camera higher.

"Ok. Come a lil closer Millie an' smile."

It was a week later that Jessiebell got her cutie mark, around the same time she got the developed photograph back. She treasured both as valued gifts.
