(OLD) A Hot Day in the Park (Gen five)

Well, working with my Oc's again inspired me. So for awhile, I'll be showing some scenes in my Gen 5 ponies lives. It will be very random what I decide to do, whatever strikes my fancy really.

This happens at the same time as their profile picture.

BACKGROUND INFO: One day, various ponies decided to take their little ones to the park. But one of them is getting a frosty reception.


STORYTIME:
Elixer didn't want to be mean. He really didn't. But when it came to Simplicity . . . well she was just a bit much. The half dragon pony was twice the size of the others their age and not gentle. And besides, by his own logic, he wasn't the only one avoiding her, so he shouldn't feel that guilty. And yet . . .

Watching the purple filly clomping about the playground all alone was a rather sad sight. She was wandering up to each pony in turn and asking to play. Elixer had already turned her down, so she turned her attention to Brownie Bites in the sandbox. From experience, Elixer knew what would happen now.

Brownie Bites took one look at the giant purple, reptilian pony and hunkered down in the sand, shaking.

"Come on! Can't I play?"

The earth pony refused to answer. He just shook his head and shivered in fear.

So Simplicity lumbered over to the pegasus filly Blue Skies.

"Wanna play?"

Startled, she at least tried to let her down easy.

"No thank you."

"Okay . . ."

"Haven't you figured it out yet?" The snide voice came from behind.

Now trouble was here. Appletini came prancing up like she owned the place, followed obidently by Butter Brickle. Everywhere the sassy little unicorn went, the love struck earth pony was sure to follow.

"Figured what out?" Simplicity's brow furrowed in deep concentration. "Oh! Do you wanna play with me?"

"Ha ha! Of course not! No one wants to play with a freak like you. Am I right Butters?"

"Absolutely."

"What?" Simplicity couldn't wrap her mind around it.

"You're a giant lizard, freak of nature. You shouldn't be here, in any sense. Now scram before you step on us fatty."

"D-don't call me that." Simplicity's chin was trembling and a thin plume of smoke was blowing from her nostril. Again, Elixer had the urge to help her, but then he would encour Appletini's wrath and make Simplicity wanna play with him.

"I'm just telling the truth. You're a big, ugly, clumsy, stupid-"

"STOP IT!!!!!"

Simplicity shrieks in anger and saddness and from her mouth comes a powerfull jet of flame. Everyone on the playground stops and stares at the light. Butter Brickle and Appletini run off in panic.

And, although they wouldn't admit it, the younger ponies had a bit more respect for Simplicity. Maybe one day, they would aproach her for friendship. Or in the least, protection.

In terms of the foals whose parents aren't revealed (Appletini, Butter Brickle and Blue Skies), they will be revealed later. Feel free to guess.
